Tosoh President Visits PRII

Makati City, Philippines—Mr. Mamoru Kuwada, president of Tosoh Corporation, was warmly welcomed by Mr. Takahiro Machiba, president of Philippine Resins Industries, Inc. (PRII) - a subsidiary of Tosoh Corporation, when the former visited the Philippines. Mr. Kuwada was accompanied by Messrs. Hideaki Imoto and Masaki Iwasaki, managers of Corporate Strategy and Chlor-Alkali Division, respectively. During the visit, current and forthcoming projects of PRII as well as several areas were discussed. Mr. Machiba also expressed his gratitude to Mr. Kuwada for the unwavering support of Tosoh to PRII as the company gears towards its 25th year in commercial operation in the country next year.

Mr. Kuwada also had the opportunity to visit and tour the newly renovated administration building of PRII at its PVC manufacturing plant in Mariveles, Bataan as well as its headquarters in Makati City. PRII management and staff were honored to meet Tosoh president and expressed their commitment to the continuous growth of the company in the Philippines and the ASEAN.
