Philippines Resins Industries, Inc. Adopted 2 Hectares of Forest Area

In line with Philippine Resins Industries, Inc.'s commitment for a sustainable environment and in support of the Let's Go Green Advocacy of Bataan and the National Greening Program of DENR, promoting carbon neutrality by enhancing carbon sequestration through tree planting, PRII has adopted, through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the local government and community organization, approximately two (2) hectares of Community-based Forestry Management (CBFM) Area in Barangay Gen. Lim, Orion, Bataan. A total of 38 volunteers from PRII and its contractors planted 200 narra and cashew seedlings in the adopted forest area last August 28, 2018. Under the MOA, This also satisfies one of the terms and conditions of PRII's registration of the PVC expansion plant with the Board of Investments (BOI).
