Various applications include roofing, flooring/tiles, door and window profiles, ceiling panels, foam boards, tile trims, partitions, base boards, fencing, decking and railings. Outdoor applications such as furniture, trellises, gazebos, marine docks, arbors are also gaining popularity.

As developments in its manufacture and processing technology and additives emerge, more and more uses for PVC are being discovered and studied.
