Philippines Resins Industries, Inc. (PRII) Adopted Mangrove Reforestation Area

In support of the government's mangrove enrichment program, Philippine Resins Industries, Inc. (PRII) formally adopted, through another Memorandum of Agreement with the local government and local fisherfolk organization, around two (2) hectares of mangrove reforestation area at Barangay Camachile, Orion, Bataan in October 2018. The MOA cover rehabilitation, planting and maintenance of magroves in the adopted site. In line with this, around 1,000 mangrove seedlings were planted by 56 volunteers from PRII and its contractors on November 23, 2018. Thereafter, on December 21, 2018, PRII supported the construction of a 100- meter footbridge and a shed/guardhouse made of bamboo to facilitate the monitoring and maintenance of the mangroves.
